The Story of Who’s Green?
Priscilla Sheridan is a native and lifelong resident of Tucson, Arizona where she currently resides with her husband and two children. In 2005 she founded Media 520, a small marketing, advertising and public relations firm.
Shortly thereafter, she and her family began to plan their new dream home in Tucson with the intent of using mud adobe brick for the beauty and esthetics of the native desert construction. In researching the design and materials for their project, they began to learn the economical and environmental benefits of not only mud adobe construction but solar energy, underground cooling, water harvesting methods, roofing, windows and much more.
Wondering why the concept of green construction was not more popular, especially in the hot, arid climate of Southern Arizona, her interest began to peak until finally she fused her expertise in cause marketing with her enthusiasm for the environment and economy that had now far exceeded just home construction.
Soon, Who’s Green? was created and Priscilla began to market, educate and implement simple and affordable ways to make a difference in the quality of our lives and our planet. Her marketing knowledge led her to transforming Who’s Green? from a passionate interest into a community project supported by local businesses, schools and civic organizations and leaders.
