Apple Cider Vinegar- Your Secret Weapon

What’s so wonderful about vinegar? Besides being effective, vinegar is cheap and widely available. It is non-toxic and lasts for a very long time without losing strength. It does not pollute land, air or water or combust. It’s much safer to have under your sink than bleach, ammonia or other toxic cleaning products. Many also swear by the benefits of apple cider vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinegar is made from nutritious organically grown apples and retains many of the fruits’ beneficial components because raw apple cider vinegar is not pasteurized. And in its two fermentation processes, it produces enzymes and life giving nutrients that make apple cider vinegar the powerhouse it is.

Only raw organic apple cider vinegar has the “mother of vinegar” that makes the vinegar so beneficial. The “mother” is made up living nutrients and bacteria. You can actually see it settled in the bottom of the bottle like sediment.

Freshen Your Laundry

•    Got grass stains? Make a mixture of one-third cup white vinegar and two-thirds cup water. Apply the solution to the stain and blot with a clean cloth. Repeat this process until you’ve removed as much green as possible, and then launder as usual.

•    Toss in a capful of white vinegar into your next load of laundry. Your colors will come out bolder and your whites whiter. If you’ve recently had an encounter with a skunk, it will take more than a capful.

•    To make a natural pre-treatment spray for stained clothes, combine 4 ounces of white vinegar, ½-cup baking soda and 8 ounces of distilled water, mix well and pour into a spray bottle.
