Fresh Squeezed, Handmade, Nothing Frozen!

What do these three things have in common? Harvest, of course!

Harvest was first conceived by accomplished restaurateurs from the noted and popular Hacienda del Sol and Zona 78 to be a scratch restaurant. Their concept included offering only the freshest fruits and vegetables grown and harvested locally, Arizona organic beef and the most readily available fresh fish—all with seasonal appeal. Since its opening in November 2008, this concept has held true and is creating a diverse and every-so-often changing menu selection for patrons.

Matt Firth, General Manager and Managing Partner at Harvest, proudly boasts of the quality ingredients and freshness of the restaurant’s offerings. “Nothing frozen is ever used at Harvest,” says Matt, “even our pasta and gnocchi is handmade, and juices are fresh-squeezed.” Farmers from the local area and Arizona-wide supply the freshest of ingredients that are prepared at the peak of flavors to create the mouth-watering and palate-pleasing menu items.

Not only does one enjoy a truly unique dining experience in the casual atmosphere of Harvest, but menus are printed on recycled paper. Shirts and aprons worn by staff and servers are produced by a local graphics firm from organic, recycled fabrics and in seasonal colors to complement the menu items. To-go containers are also made from recycled paper material and Styrofoam is an absolute no-no at Harvest.

Lunch is served daily (beginning May 18th) from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and the dinner menu is available starting at 3:00 p.m. Harvest offers a Sunset Menu from 4:00- 5:30 p.m. each evening which includes six smaller portioned items from the regular menu for $12—perfect for tempting the palate.

A generous happy hour featuring wines from around the world, domestic and imported beers and specialty drinks is held nightly 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. with $3.00 off wines and $2.00 off beers and specialty drinks.

Harvest is open Monday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
